It’s Time to Celebrate

Three Seasons Community Church 9-2-07

1 Corinthians 12:1-7 (NLT)

And now, dear brothers and sisters, I will write about the special abilities the Holy Spirit gives to each of us, for I must correct your misunderstandings about them. [2] You know that when you were still pagans you were led astray and swept along in worshiping speechless idols. [3] So I want you to know how to discern what is truly from God: No one speaking by the Spirit of God can curse Jesus, and no one is able to say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit.

[4] Now there are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but it is the same Holy Spirit who is the source of them all. [5] There are different kinds of service in the church, but it is the same Lord we are serving. [6] There are different ways God works in our lives, but it is the same God who does the work through all of us. [7] A spiritual gift is given to each of us as a means of helping the entire church.

Helping believers discover how they can serve God and others.

      6. ENCOURAGE– Loving Relationships

Jesus commanded us to love one another as He loved us.

John 13:34-35 (NLT)

So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. [35] Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples."

GRACIOUS FATHER,

YOU HAVE BEEN SO GOOD TO ME

GIVE ME A DESIRE TO SHARE MY STORY

ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE DOING IN ME

WITH THOSE YOU TELL ME TO

I REDEDICATE MY LIFE TO YOU, TO BE USED FOR YOUR GLORY

AND WE REDEDICATE OURSELVES AND THIS BUILDING TO:

BE A CHURCH FOR THE UNCHURCHED

TO REACH THE BROKENHEARTED FOR CHRIST

TO HELP BELIEVERS GROW IN CHRIST

AND TO EQUIP BELIEVERS TO SERVE CHRIST

WE ASK THAT IN ALL THINGS THREE SEASONS WOULD BRING YOU HONOR AND GLORY, BY BEING A SAFE PLACE OF HOPE, HEALING, LOVE, FREEDOM AND LIGHT TO OUR DARK COMMUNITY
