There is only one person who can decide if you’re going to change– YOU!!

It’s not what happens that determines your life future– it’s what you do about what happens. All of us are like a sailboat– it’s not the blowing of the wind that determines our destination– it’s the setting of the sail.

The difference in where you arrive in 1, 3 or 5 years is not the blowing of the wind– BUT the setting of the sail!

Why are you dreaming what you’re dreaming?

Jesus formula for achieving personal greatness– Find a way to serve the many because serving the many leads to greatness!

Matthew 20:25-28 (NIV)

Jesus called them together and said, "You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. [26] Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, [27] and whoever wants to be first must be your slave-- [28] just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

Romans 12:10

Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.

Philippians 2:3

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.

Many people in the United States are like a nest of birds– mouths open, waiting for mamma to feed them and take care of their every need!

Dreamer or Schemer? Great dreamers possess servants hearts. Dreamers are givers, not takers!

Why is my dream important?

Whom will my dream benefit?

Great dreamers, on the other hand, possess servants’ hearts. A schemer asks, "What can I get? A dreamer asks, What can I give?

Dreamers are givers, not takers. Energizing and enthusiastic, they empower and encourage others to go beyond themselves and dream big dreams. They live by the highest standards of ethics, morality and values. Dreamers build the world; schemers erode it! Kallestad

Are you a dreamer or a schemer?

Mark 8:36 (NLT) And how do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul in the process?

Will my dream heal or hurt?

Will my dream fill a need?

Will my dream solve a problem?

Will my dream help others’ dreams come true?

If you answered "no" to any of the four, go back and reexamine your dream.
